Questions buyers actually ask

Does Boon charge per seat?

No. Pricing is token-based, so the whole preconstruction team can work with the agent in the same Slack or Microsoft Teams channel without buying more licenses. You pay for the takeoff work performed, not for who can open the tool.

What is a token?

The unit of work the agent consumes reading drawings and specs and producing takeoffs, bid summaries, and scope comparisons. A light month costs less than a heavy bid month — usage pricing, not a fixed contract.

Is there a free trial?

Founding members — the first 1,000 estimators — get 100K free tokens. You can also email a plan set to plans@getboon.ai and get a quantified takeoff back without signing up at all.

Do I need procurement to start?

No. Signup is self-serve and onboarding is one message in Slack or Teams. There is no annual contract requirement to buy a token pack.
